Characters: Fae

Parapsych – Ch01 Cover

Welcome to the beginning of the sci-fi story Parapsych! I will be your host and storyteller for our little journey. This story follows the wayward adventure of Fae, Cho and Nell. The story has thrills, comedy, suspense and some small existential horror. Feel free to browse the various links on the side. The comic is planned to go on for 16 chapters. All chapters have been written and up to chapter 13 has been planned out with script queues. The process at this point is to transmute what is written to the visual. We plan on releasing pages once a week while we work on the future chapters. At the release of this page, content up until March of 2026 has been prepped and is waiting for the weekly drip to be released. In the future, there will be an option to pre-emptively purchase the comic in an electronic format, if you wish to read ahead. It will be hosted via Amazon KDP. This will probably be released around page 12, but it may be sooner, if people are demanding to know more. A trailer for the entire chapter will be released near the completion in order to bring attention to the voice cast. The fully voice-acted chapter 1 will be released soon after the final page of Chapter 01 is put up. This will include panel-by-panel reads of the lines that will be performed by the amazing voice talent that have been hired on for Parapsych. This comic is a work of fiction put together by a small team. I am the writer, creator and producer of this project. My name is Jim Perry. I have worked on several other comics in the past. Out of My Element and My Hero! are the primary works I was the writer for. Other works I have edited for are works like Tom 'n Artie, Sylvia, Abnormal Shift and Kaiju Dayz - all works created and written by my friend HazeAmaze (Robert Livingston). Jamil Gonzalez is the primary artist and designer for all things visual. Skilled at drawing anthropomorphic characters, Jamil's attention to detail and penchant for drawing has been nothing short of amazing throughout the entire process. As of writing this, Jamil is already starting on chapter 2 of the story. Giulia Mazzasette is the colourist and SFX editor for the comic. Skilled and incredibly versatile, Giulia has given a vibrant life to the cassette-futurism that we were trying to go for with the in-universe looks of the world. Her talents do not end at simply coloring. She is an avid artist and writer as well. This area, simply known as the blurb, will be filled with insight, stories on pages, jokes and other completely random tidbits or thoughts. Enjoy my blathering and tales of production as well as some terrible puns and laughably bad ideas. I may upload some designs and the like in here as well. At the bottom of this panel, you will find an ad from ComicAdNetwork. Do check them out. If you would like to assist in a form of moral support, you could always visit TopWebcomics and throw us a like. You can get there by clicking on the little post-it note. The art will be updated on the post-it whenever a new incentive has been uploaded. Thank you for your time and we hope you enjoy the show!
